Assistant Principal

Jared Peoples is entering his first year as assistant principal at St. Clair County High School. Mr. Peoples is a third generation graduate of SCCHS (‘05), and a lifelong Odenville native. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science, as well as a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also holds a certificate in Instructional Leadership from Jacksonville State University. Before becoming assistant principal, Mr. Peoples spent 11 years as a classroom teacher and coach at Odenville Middle School. He is married to Kim Peoples, who is a volleyball coach at SCCHS. Mr. Peoples is excited for the opportunity afforded by his new position to enact meaningful change in the community he loves so much.
